Everyone

This Sunday we announced our pledges figure to our  'Leaving a Legacy'. Now we begin to do the stuff and see the dream become all God intended it to be (transformed lives).

I have put down some thoughts below for conversation. The idea that everyone gets to play, everyone has something to bring and everyone who is born of the Spirit of God has a Kingdom mandate to go out and heal the sick, cast out demons, feed the poor. If we can renew our minds we can transform our lives and many, many other lives too.

Then they asked him, "What must we do to do the works God requires?" Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent." (Jn 6 :28&29).

This is a simple thought but every but everything ting we do must simply be, because we believe Jesus, otherwise we build a Christian culture that has no root in faith; in Christ. It’s not that they are bad things but they can take our devotion and take away from what God has called us to do, His command.

The absolute commands of God are to teach the Kingdom and do the works of the Kingdom. Every word God has spoken is guarded and intended to produce fruit and life.
Isa 55
10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, 11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

God releases words over people, churches, cities communities, lives and families but there is a realm that is framed, hinged on; my roll and your roll. God will guard and keep watch over His words, God keeps all His promises but listen, He is not obligated to fulfil our potential. God speaks into the hearts and its what I do what you do that will determine the outcome. Listen there is always a co labouring with God on earth and you and I can cancel one of the most powerful thing in the universe, we can cancel out the voice of God.

Mk 7 – By our traditions we can make Gods work of no effect.

The Big Thought: Everything we do must serve the command of God, the essential of the gospel – preach the good news of the Kingdom and demonstrate it here and now on earth. Again think what our world would look like here, where you and I live, if everyone connected with what God has called us to do.

The Storehouse is simply a tool, when we show up and serve our end goal is the Kingdom of God being brought into realty, life change, transformation.

Is 58
Feed the hungry and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as day. 11 The LORD will guide you continually, watering your life when you are dry and keeping you healthy, too. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring. 12 Your children will rebuild the deserted ruins of your cities. Then you will be known as the people who rebuild their walls and cities. Isa 58: 10-12 (NLT)

The lifestyle of hearing God propels us to show up and serve so we can restore communities and cities. Listen God is positioning us to wreck havoc on the powers of darkness.

Advance!
