Healing

Talking about healing has become a bit of a contentious subject, no thanks to some of our TV guys. We want to back away from it because we fear failure or not having an answer when someone doesn't get healed.

This morning I felt there was so much more I should have said but time got the better of me. Here's my chance of getting to say or comment on what stops alot of us from stating and accessing the Kingdom. Why do some people get healed and others don't?

It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age (Heb 6:5). We live in the presence of the future we get a glimpse of the final age when He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away (Rev 21:4). This means we will continue to live in frustration of seeing the Kingdom and not especially when it comes to healing, living between the times can be a pain (literally).

How or what do we do as we live in this age of the Kingdom? We must simply pray "your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven".Be persistent and do what Jesus called us to do, teach what He taught and do what He did; put simply make disciples. This ought to take the pressure off, healing just like any other resource of the Kingdom is Gods rule and reign, His presence active on earth and so its not our deal.
We need to stop trying to defend God and allow Him to break into our lives and the lives of others. The Kingdom is all about saying Yes to God. Jesus called the twelve apostles together and gave them power and authority over all demons and the ability to heal sicknesses. He sent the apostles out to tell about God’s kingdom and to heal the sick. Luke 9:1-2 (New Century Version)
I tell you the truth, whoever believes in me will do the same things that I do. Those who believe will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. John 14:12 (New Century Version)
Let's unleash heaven on hell!
