Hey Happy St. Patrick's; a day late I know but enjoy the bank Holiday if you're off.
We continued the conversation on prayer this morning and I'm learning so much from this series. The one thought I'd like to leave with you this week is that prayer is not about our articulation with God its more about the posture of our hearts.
When we orientate our hearts towards God we embrace the Character and person of God the Father.
When we are kids we usually start with bless mum & dad extending the circle to Grand parents, to aunts and uncles and the circle goes out all the time. The strange thing is that the older we get the circle draws inwards.
What if we have missed our most important conversations with God because we are stuck in the 'me vacuum'? Back to the posture of prayer, if we are orientated towards God the Father then maybe we should catch that He is inclusive to others.
What does your communication with the Father sound like, is it me and mine or do you widen the circle to include others?
